Dear Friends and Supporters,
At the Centre for Systemic Studies, we have strong ties to those who have played a part in our journey. Billy, one of our remarkable co-founders, made a lasting impact on our work and community through his passion and dedication. Although some time has passed since Billy's passing, his influence remains profound, and his absence is deeply felt every day.
To honor Billy's memory, his family is organizing a Macmillan Coffee Day at their residence in Porthcawl on Saturday, 14th September. They will welcome friends, neighbors, and anyone interested in supporting this noble cause from 9 AM to 5 PM. Billy's wife, daughter Molly, and sister-in-law Rhian have put together this event with love to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, an organization that offered invaluable care to Billy during his illness.
The Coffee Day presents a great opportunity for the community to come together, savour some delightful treats, and most importantly, contribute to a cause that was dear to Billy. Coffee, tea, and cakes will be provided at no cost—all they request is a donation to Macmillan Cancer Support. Your generosity will help ensure that other families receive the same compassionate care that Billy's family did.
If you are unable to attend but would like to contribute, we urge you to click on the link below to donate directly to Macmillan Cancer Support. Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a significant impact on the lives of those battling cancer. https://cm24.macmillan.org.uk/fundraising/CM24015837
Billy's legacy lives on through the Centre for Systemic Studies, and we are honoured to support his family in this initiative. We invite everyone in our community to join this event, enjoy the hospitality, and make a donation to Macmillan. Together, we can carry on the important work that meant so much to Billy and his loved ones.
Let's ensure that this Macmillan Coffee Day is a great success in Billy's memory. Your presence and support will mean the world to his family and to all of us who continue to hold his memory dear.
Warm regards,
The Team at the Centre for Systemic Studies
