Permission to Play at Bryngarw Country Park

Updated: Dec 3, 2024

On the 14th of November 2024, a group of systemically orientated practitioners and participants came together at the beautiful Bryngarw Country Park for a day of exploration, creativity, and connection. This event, titled "Creative Systemic Practice – Making Permission to Play", was facilitated by Gail Simon, Lorna Edwards, Jill Lubienski, Charlie Chapman, Kate Evans, Julia Evans, Thelma Rees, and Leah Salter.

The day was centred around workshopping ideas, fostering creativity, and encouraging everyone to reconnect with the playful, imaginative sides of themselves. Set against the backdrop of crisp autumn leaves and the serene woods, the workshop offered participants an opportunity to step away from routine and into a space where play and systemic creativity were encouraged to flourish.

Under a canopy of camouflage tarp the gathering became an intimate space for reflection and interaction. The day was filled with engaging activities, meaningful conversations, and moments of pure joy as participants shared their thoughts and experiences in a relaxed and supportive environment.

The facilitators guided the group through exercises designed to inspire creativity and systemic thinking, helping everyone to see new possibilities in their personal and professional lives. It was a day of discovery, laughter, and connection, proving that creativity thrives when given the right space and permission.

Thank you to everyone who made this day possible and for all who participated!

Here’s to carrying the spirit of play and creativity into our everyday practices.
