Dave Edward's journey with the Centre for Systemic Studies began in 2010 at the Family Institute, where he qualified as a systemic psychotherapist in 2015.
Throughout his career, Dave has valued the strong sense of community fostered at conferences and workshops, bringing together a diverse group of people from around the world.
He has established and led family therapy clinics within children's services and the NHS, benefiting young people, families, and trainee psychotherapists.
With a background in youth work, children's services, and CAMHS, Dave integrates his interests in attachment theory, narrative approaches, social constructionism, and creative supervision into his teaching at the Centre.
He is passionate about facilitating learning and self-reflexivity across various settings, including the NHS and the Centre.
Dave believes that meaningful learning emerges from collaborative, relational interactions, which shapes his teaching approach of drawing on the strengths and resources of all participants.
