Amongst the Trees: Autumn Respite with John Doran and Lorna Edwards

Take time away from the everyday grind for a morning of walking, conversation and reflection at Parc Bryngarw. Join John Doran and Lorna Edwards to explore eco-systemic practice and our relationships with the more-than-human world.

Time & Location

06 Nov 2026, 10:00 – 12:00

Bryngarw Country Park, Brynmenyn, Bridgend CF32 8UU, UK

About the event

You are warmly invited to spend a morning amongst the trees, taking respite from the grind in whatever form it takes.

Together, we will walk and talk, share ideas and explore Transmaterial Worlding theory and practice. There will be space for reflection, conversation and connection with the more-than-human world.

John will introduce the voice of the park: if the park could talk, what might it say? What might it want eco-systemic practitioners to know?

Lorna will lead a meditative walk, inviting us to explore our relationships with the more-than-human.

This autumn gathering is part of a seasonal series planned to take place four times a year at Parc Bryngarw. If you would like to attend the event, please head to our Eventbrite page at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/respite-time-with-john-doran-and-lorna-edwards-amongst-the-trees-tickets-2002797772050?aff=oddtdtcreator to book your place.
