Attention, Trouble and More-Than-Human Companions in Practice

A one-day workshop for practitioners ready to slow down and work differently

Time & Location

07 Awst 2026, 09:30 – 16:30

Bryngarw Country Park, Brynmenyn, Bridgend CF32 8UU, UK

About the event

Drawing on ecosystemic practice, Batesonian thinking and more-than-human approaches, this day offers an embodied and relational exploration of attention, power and responsibility.

Participants are invited to notice how urgency, certainty and control shape their professional responses — and to reflect upon what becomes possible when attention is widened to include place, body and ecological relations.

The workshop focuses on ethical positioning, relational humility and practices of restraint for contemporary systemic and helping professionals.

Structure of the Day
